2017-Backyard plants - 1

I started this time to plant for seedlings around last week of march with only little luck. Now I am in middle of May and I could not plant them outside because of weather going down and up crazily. However I do have some of the pics I can share on what we did this year. Some areas got cleaned up and some small seedlings got planted.

 I was happy to see the green beans coming up fast to I seperated and potted them for time being. however after I moved them to the yard in April end when weather was good.... I lost them :(. Because of crazy cold weather in second week of May.

My husband made a plant bed for me again. During renovation I lost the two plant beds I had. So here we go. Thank you hubby!!

Home Renovation - Final Product :1 - Front Porch

With my contractor giving up and trying to suck up more money from us, we decided that we will go with multiple other persons to get the stuff done at home than to rely on the guy and be in the exact same situation after one month again.Our home got finished almost (no furniture) around November last year.

 Some red tomatos showing up. I am not happy about the size being so small but nevertheless having the home grown tomatos is always a happy feeling. I am happy for what I am getting. An aunt tasted one of those tomatos and told me that it reminded her the tomato's from India. That is a big compliment.

2016-Backyard Plants - 3

Flowers from my garden on one day. 

I am little happy about how the small treasures of nature are coming in my garden. Here are some pics from it. One small capsicum, little sour greens, only a couple of beans, very little peas, very young eggplants and tomato's, small little okra and thotakura (amaranth leaves). Hoping to have a good output at least this summer as I could not have much last two years.

2016 Backyard Plants - 2

My mom unknowingly put lot of tomato seeds into a pot and they all started into a nice seedlings. i donated some and put some in community garden at my work place too. I still have some left and I better start putting them soon again.

I guess it is too late to ask for a plant bed so I just put some plants on ground.

Dosakaya. Although I planted it next to a pears tree, and hoping it would just have only enough sun and shade, I feel the sun is too hot now a days even for that few hours it receives. It started growing but turning yellow too :(.
